Question:
Presently have a 5-wire connection going from a Honda Goldwing MC to a trailer, no brakes. I am needing a little different connection for a second camper/trailer requiring a 6-wire setup for brakes. How can this be achieved using one 6-wire connection that will serve both trailers? Can I replace the 5-wire connection on the present trailer with a 6-wire connection even though there will only be 5 wires in use? I plan to mount the brake controller in the top trunck of the bike. Any help appreciated.

You will want to first cut off the 5-way of your motorcycle and then wire a 6-way in its place. The sixth circuit will be for the brake controller output. For a vehicle side 6-way round you would want a Pollak 6-Pole # PK11609.
Now for your trailer with a 5-way on it you will want to install a 6-way as well. You would want to use a Pollak 6-Pole # PK11604 like you referenced for this. The brake controller circuit will not be used on this 6-way.
Now your motorcycle has a 6-way on it that will be able to connect to both of your trailers, and once you have a brake controller installed you will be able to control the brakes of your trailer with brakes.
Typically motorcycles do better with time-delayed controllers since they offer more flexibility with installation locations. For that I would recommend you get a Tekonsha PowerTrac Electronic Brake Controller # 39523.
I attached an FAQ article on wiring and a couple pics of 6-way wiring diagrams for you to check out also.
