30amp is 110v and 50amp is 220v. 30amp plugs will have two flat prongs and a rounded ground prong. 50amp plugs will have 3 flat prongs and a rounded ground prong. If you're trying to plug a 30amp power cord from your RV into a 220v power source I recommend the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter - 30 Amp Female to 50 Amp Male - 12" Long Item # A10-5030FBK.
