Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster front anti-sway bar is an excellent option for added stability for your customer's motorhome, and you were correct about the fit for a 2007 Coachmen Mirada with a 20,500 lb GVWR, which is the following:
- Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-148
This stabilizer is going to do a superb job of helping brace the axle on the motorhome, resulting in more controlled handling and making it easier to steer your Coachmen. In regards to installation, it should take somewhere in the neighborhood of 1 to 2 hours as an estimate.
In regards to adding something for the rear of the motorhome, that is something we recommend in order to maximize the overall stability of a motorhome, particularly large Class A rigs. The correct fit for your customer's 2007 Coachmen Mirada is the following, though please note the fit requirements from the accompanying photo that I added below:
- Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-145
The reason we highly recommend a rear anti-sway bar is because they are constructed with higher-strength, thicker steel than OEM sway bars. This means they have higher roll stiffness to combat sway, and their placement at the rear of the vehicle allows for the greatest improvement in handling. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
