putting e97 tune and disabled the afm but noticed it still goes to 4cyl

I talked to my contact at Superchips regarding disabling Active Fuel Management, or Displacement On Demand, with the Superchips Flashpaq F5 Performance Tuner # SU2845 on your 2015 Silverado 1500 5.3. The process to do this is as follows:
1.) Turn ignition on
2.) Plug in the tuner
3.) Go to the Tune Menu and select tune options
4.) Before applying tune, hit "customize tune" and you should be able to disable the AFM/DOD system

If you followed these steps and you are still having issues then let me know and I will dig deeper into the issue.

I turned off the afm/dod system in my dash settings it shows v4 when I take my foot off the gas pedal is it of or not

@NickP It doesn't sound like it disabled it if it still shows 4 cylinder mode at certain times. I'd run through the process again and make sure it's off. If not, I'd reach out to the manufacturer to get live assistance.
