Howdy 2012 gmc sierra 1500 4wd ettended cab 5.3 my reciever on truck is rusting. Is this comparable to the stock hitch on truck? E28849

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98849 will be an excellent replacement hitch option for the factory hitch on a 2012 GMC Sierra 1500. It will provide a direct bolt-on swap with no drilling required. It's rated for up to 10,000 lbs which should be on par with the factory hitch.
