Question:
I have a 2007 Silverado Classic 2500HD. It currently has a Pod brake controller. It has 4 wires going to it. One black, one blue, one red and one white. Can I cut these wires to attatch the Curt controller.

I have another option for you, but your 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Classic has a factory trailer brake controller port so there is no need to cut any wires.
To replace your current controller with the Curt Assure Trailer Brake Controller with Dynamic Screen - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # C49UR you will just need the # C51352 which will plug into the factory trailer brake controller port underneath the dash of your truck.
I included video reviews for both of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
