Does the Redarc BCDC Receive Power From the 7 Way Connector

Question:

Can I use the 12V power supplied from my vehicle across my 7 pin trailer connections to power this charger in a small off road trailer, or do I need to run a separate 12V power cable from the vehicles battery to the trailer? My vehicle is already equipped from the factory with a 7 pin.

Yes, you'll be able to use the 12v feed from your tow vehicle via the 7 way connector to power the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger - Single Input - DC to DC - 12V/24V - 12 Amp # RED96FR; this is the recommended installation of this unit and you won't need to run any wires to the vehicle.
