Expert Reply:
For a surge style set up, the Titan Disc Brake Actuator # T4750520 will definitely be a good actuator. This will also work in unison with the Titan Disc Brake Assembly # THRCM13378DACEK without issues. This does utilize an electric lockout making backing up a lot easier as well.
If you wanted to go with an electric over hydraulic set up, the HydraStar # HBA16 would be a great option. That being said, to activate an electric over hydraulic actuator, you will need a brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. You will also need to have a 7 Way completely wired to the back of the vehicle. If you do not, our Universal Installation Kit for Electric Brake Controllers # ETBC7 will need to be installed.
Though the # HBA16 paired with a brake controller will be more interactive while towing, the # T4750520 will require less fussing and is far simpler to set up and use.
