Yes, I checked with Thule and the Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier # TH910XT that you referenced has been confirmed to fit your 2012 Ford Taurus.

The lower arm will be positioned on the upper tier of the bumper, the lower clips on the edge of the trunk. The top clips go in the gap at the font edge of the top of the trunk, and the fit dial number used is 8.

Thule recommends that this rack get removed when not in use to prevent any type of warping to the rear bumper.
