Question:

I need to replace my leaf spring shackles and cant find any information as to what the axles are on the trailer. Vin number is 5TH wheel tandem axel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would be happy to help you find the correct replacement shackles for your 1997 Dutchmen 26FWRK-2 but you will need to measure your current shackles as I was unable to find any information on the specific ones used based on your VIN.

To measure the shackles you will need to measure from center of one hole to the center of the other as shown in the included diagram. You will then just need to find shackles that match your current ones.

For example the Replacement Standard Shackle Link - 2-1/4" Long - Zinc - Qty 1 # LC122487 is 2-1/4" long from center to center of the two holes and would be a great option if this matches the length of your current shackles.
