for a 2021 chevy 1500 5.5 box,

The Curt # C16307 that you referenced is for a RAM truck and does not include bed rails. For a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with a 5-3/4 foot bed you would want the Reese # RP56015-53 Quick Install Kit that includes base rails for a 5th-Wheel hitch and is compatible with B&W, Curt, Demco Hijacker Premier Series, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese, and Valley above-bed 5th-wheel trailer hitches.

If you have a different hitch style just email me back with your product information for an updated recommendation.

I noticed that in your note you said you had a Chevy 1500 but in the fit guide you said Chevy 2500. For a 2500 you will need a different kit. Let me know.
