Tension Setting Solera RV Slide-Out Awning
Updated 04/26/2021 | Published 04/23/2021 >
Question:
Just installed this unit. I did not try to adjust the tension in the roller so whatever was delivered with the pins in place is currently being used on my slide. It seems very taut. Im a little concerned that the tension add stress to the motors on slide Schwintek system . I guess the reverse is true in retraction so maybe it doesnt matter. Does it matter? Thanks. V

Tension can be adjusted to loosen your Solera RV Slide-Out Awning, # LCV000163285 if you choose to. However, you are probably just fine and you want tension to hold the fabric tightly so as to not sag. Yes, there will become a point when too much restriction against an RV slide will be an issue, but I don't think you will reach that point from this topper.
