Question:

I have a 2019 ram 3500 mega cab short bed. I do not have a puck system and cannot get one from the dealer for 4 to 6 months, they are on back order. Will the demco above bed hitch kit for the demco 21 k slider hitch work if I have a bandw fifth wheel goose neck hitch already installed? I am currently using a fifth wheel mounted bandw companion slider, works great but I want to go to an auto slider. I don’t really like the above bed kit but I am running out of options. You may have some type of under the bed kit, but please keep in mind that I do have the bandw factory goose neck that might be in the way.

Since you're wanting to switch to an auto-slider like the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Above Bed - 21,000 lbs Item # DM8550035 you're unfortunately going to have to go with the above bed rails for this to safely be anchored to your truck bed. I recommend the Demco Hijacker Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rails and Semi-Custom Install Kit for 5th Wheel Hitches Item # DM47VR.
