Does this lock work on E-Trailer E-3 weight distribution system?? Do you recommend a better one ? Thank you

It sounds like you're looking for a solution to lock your trailer coupler while the weight distribution hitch is still connected to the trailer, and I think you might be referring to a Fastway E2 weight distribution hitch. We do not have an e-trailer branded weight distribution system available. With all of that said, we do have some solutions that can help provide an added layer of security to your trailer, but you won't want to use the Tow Ready # TS84FR since you won't have the ability to use a coupler lock with a weight distribution system.

You can use a hitch pin lock like the etrailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches - Flush - 3-5/8" Span - Chrome # e98881 so secure the shank of your weight distribution system to your hitch. You can also get a latch lock for your coupler like the etrailer Trailer Coupler Latch Lock - 7/8" Span - 1/4" Diameter - Chrome - Keyed Alike # e98889. These two locks can actually get keyed alike to allow you to use only 1 key for both locks, so it's a really convenient.
