Question:

Hi Im interested in getting the C13329 hitch for my 2017 Kia Niro, but am wondering what is included. Do I also need to get a ball mount, hitch ball, and wiring system? Trying to move across the country with a 5x8foot or 6x12foot U-haul trailer. Thanks!

We can get your 2017 Kia Niro set up with a trailer hitch receiver, wiring harness and rest of the parts needed so you can safely tow a small trailer for your move. The hitch does not come with the harness, ball mount, or hitch ball, but I can tell you exactly what you will need, including the Curt hitch you mentioned.

So with the hitch, the best option for a wiring harness is definitely the Tekonsha because we have found these to be by far the most reliable trailer wiring harnesses in the industry. The ball mount will fit the 2" hitch, and it will be used in the rise position, which I found based on the height of the Curt hitch when installed on a '17 Niro as well as the coupler height of a U-Haul trailer. The trailer is also compatible with a 2" hitch ball and you'll just need the pin and clip to secure the ball mount to the hitch.
