Can you get the seal on the outside separate?

The washer is not available but since you won't be taking this on and off, you can use some Loctite # LT37467 black gasket maker silicone to seal around that lock. This is also good for that black rubber gasket around the baggage door, and other places where you don't want white or clear silicone.
