Will the Rhino-Rack Nautic Kayak Carrier Fit on Yakima Round Bars on a 2008 Honda Element

Question:

I have a 16.5 ft sea kayak, made out of wood strip with a strong Vinch shape to it, I am concerned if the RR570 has enough clearance space for the bottom not to hit the roof. I had a round bar Yakima crossbar that I had before which I liked very much that I can put on and then take off after the season is gone. Will the RR570 fit on that round bar system ? I do not have a factory crossbar now for my Honda Elment 2008, and I want to make sure everything fits before I order it, thank you for your help.

Yes. The Rhino-Rack Nautic Roof Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs - Side Loading - Clamp On # RR570 will clamp onto your Yakima Round bars without any issues, so you won't need to change your crossbars to carry your long sea kayak. I don't see any issues with clearance since this will sit on roof rack cross bars, so they'll be between the boat and the roof.
