How does the unit mount to truck bed or an angle . What does power cord plug into?

The Bulldog Utility Winch - Wire Rope - Roller Fairlead - 2,500 lbs # BD54FR is not designed to fit directly into a truck bed; it may be possible though you will need to fabricate your own mounting system to bolt the winch on, as it has hole spacing of 3.66 inches apart on center, as you can see by the cutout I added.
In regards to the cord, that is for the remote control, and that plugs directly into the winch itself. The winch is designed to be powered by a 12 volt battery.
