Can I Add Rails To My Bed While Using My Trifecta Tonneau Cover On My 2018 Ford F-150?

We’re asking for it all !! We have a Trifecta trifold bed cover for our 6’7” bed of our 2018 Ford F150 and want to add a rack for kayaks and canoes that still allows us to have the trifold installed. Anyone have the solution ??

We do have tonneau covers that will allow you to use a ladder rack for your kayaks, but the Trifecta is not one of those tonneau covers. The Trifecta # EX92480 is an above the rail tonneau cover and that's where the ladder rack would sit. If you had something like the BAK Revolver XT # BAK39327 you would be able to use the TracRac SR # TH43002XT-782 with a kayak carrier. If you wanted to go all out you can get the RetraxPRO XR # RTT-80374 and attach the OverHaul HD # Y01151-5855 to it via T-slots. That is a pretty neat system.
If you're not looking to get a new tonneau cover, you can get the Vortex Aero Bars # RRVA150B-2, Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs # RRRLKVA and the Custom DK Fit Kit # DK427. Then this kayak carrier # e98878 will wrap around your bars. This will avoid having to buy a new tonneau cover.
