Question:
Hi - I am looking for a roof rack for my 2021 Chevy Colorado. Ill be using it to transport kayaks and paddleboards, and Im planning to add the Thule Hullavator for the kayak. Your website has recommended the Thule TH711400,TH480R, and THKIT1714 for my vehicle. The TH711400 is a 53inch crossbar, but I see that Thule offers this in a 60inch version. Is there any issue with using the 60inch crossbar for my application? Im thinking that the few extra inches might provide me with a little extra side clearance when using a Hullavator.

Yes, you can upgrade to the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars (60") part # TH711520 on a 2021 Chevrolet Colorado using the Evo Clamp Feet for Thule Crossbars part # TH710501 and Fit Kit for Thule Evo Clamp Roof Rack part # TH145179. This would be the max size for this crossbar.
