Question:

Does not have the switch for Lithium or Lead Acid. Is it still compatible with Lithium?

The product you referenced, Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 90 Amp # PD4590K18LS8, is absolutely compatible Lithium-Ion, AGM, Gel, and Lead-Acid batteries. There is a very small switch for changing between either LI (lithium-ion) or LA (lead-acid, agm, gel) as you can see in the photo I attached. If the picture you attached is of your converter, then you either have a model that is not compatible with Lithium-Ion and Lead-Acid or the switch could be broken/missing. I attached a demonstration video that also shows this switch up close.

I have this same model converter PD4590K18LS8 in a 2020 Montana 5th wheel and I'm adding a lithum battery, but my converter only has the blue button with green led and no charge rate LI LA, mine is just like the lower picture that shows just the solder nubs, so is this converter for led acid batteries only or lithum batteries only? If its only for led acid what would happen if I just use it on my lithum batteries? I'm also confused on what the output mode switch is used for?

@Chris Yeah that sems to be a non-lithium converter, unfortunately. You'd need to swap it out for a Lithium model distribution panel like the one mentioned above. If you want to just replace the converter section to save money, you can try to find a part number or model info on the converter section so we can get a lithium compatible replacement for you. If you used the standard Lead Acid charge mode on Lithium batteries, it could potentially work for awhile but it is not ideal since Lithium requires a higher voltage when charging, and just totally different charge profiles in general. It is not ever recommended to do that. The blue button has nothing to do with changing between LI and LA mode, but more so for changing the different charge stages.
