How to Remove Lug Nut Caps on a Motorhome

Question:
03 Fleetwood Bounder has wheel simulator lug nuts that measure at least 1 9/16. I tried a 41mm impact socket on rear wheels, but its too wide/thick to fit next to center of simulator. Do have a tool/socket that removes these simulators nuts?

The Wheel Masters Lug Nut Cover Pliers # WM8211 is designed to remove the lug nut covers on a RV. We have used sockets to remove the covers in the past but using this tool lessens the chance of damaging the finish.
