Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Coleman Mach Signature Mach Three 13,500 BTU RV Air Conditioner with this textured black cover. Now, at 13,500 BTUs, this unit is going to keep your small to mid-size rig cool. The 13,500 BTUs are gonna give you enough cooling for those smaller to mid-size RVs, talkin' about 30-feet long and under, and as you might know, Coleman has been making RV air conditioning units for quite some time, and the Mach line here has a pretty good reputation for being both reliable and durable. This Signature model is basically the more premium version.
They beefed up the components and added some extra efficiency to help it run smoother and last longer. Giving you just some rough measurements here, the overall length end to end is about 39 inches long, and then the overall width, we're sitting pretty close to 26 inches wide, and then the overall height, this is a mid or medium-profile design, it's about 13-and-a-half inches tall. This is gonna work with your standard RV roof opening that's 14 and a quarter by 14 and a quarter inches. This weighs about 80 to 85 pounds. So this is the rooftop AC only, and it's gonna be compatible with either your ducted or ductless systems.
Of course, that's gonna be determined on what you currently have in your RV or camper and what kind of air distribution box you're going to use, but this rooftop unit itself, the AC, is basically gonna be the same engine, if you will, whether you run ducts or not. It all depends on that air-distribution box that you are going to need. That air-distribution box or the interior assembly is going to determine for you whether that cooled air gets distributed through the vents, that would be a ducted system, or just plunges straight down, that would be your non-ducted system, and you're gonna pair this with a compatible Coleman Mach air-distribution box and thermostat, if needed, to complete your cooling setup. And I do wanna point out that this unit is not going to be backwards compatible with any AC systems from 2024 and earlier, due to the new R32 refrigerant that's being used in this unit, so because of that, it's going to meet the 2025 EPA regulations, so you will need an R32-compliant air-distribution box and thermostat if you don't already have that. If you do need all of that, the good news is we do carry kits, so whether you have a ducted system or a ductless system, we do provide this unit in kits, so you can give us a call or you can take a look at our website and find the kit that's going to work best for your particular application.
The nice thing about a kit is everything is designed to work together, and then everything's gonna be compliant with that R32 refrigerant. This Mach Signature series is designed with a rugged casing and heavy-duty construction, so I think this is going to handle years of use, years of the normal wear and tear, and this cover is not like a hard rigid cover, it's more of pliable, flexible cover, so I think it's going (knuckles knock) to handle impacts pretty well and do a great job of protecting the internal components from dirt and debris, water, things like that. I do wanna show you the wiring harness here real quick. See if I can pull that plug out there real quick. So hopefully you can see that there.
And so, for a unit that's like this, that's somewhat powerful at 13,500 BTU, Coleman Mach does a really nice job of keeping the noise down. Now, this is not gonna be necessarily a whisper-quiet unit, but compared to older models or even budget-brand models, this is gonna be noticeably less disruptive, so you're gonna be able to sleep with no problem. You're gonna be able to relax or watch a movie without shouting over the air conditioning unit. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that our time together has been helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
