Bike Rack For Ebikes That Adds The Least Amount Of Length To The Vehicle
Updated 03/24/2021 | Published 03/22/2021 >
Question:
I have a 33.5 lb. bike and an e-bile that is 55.5 lb. with battery. I could take the battery out and make it closer to 50 lb. I want o transport them with my 2013 Outback and load car with bikes on the Amtrak Auto-train. I can only add 27 in length. From your videos the Saris Super clamp or Saris Freedom might work. Any other one that might work? Which one would add the least length so I dont get in trouble when trying to load the car onto the train? Thanks!

Helpful Expert Reply:
Both the Saris Freedom # SA4412B and the Saris SuperClamp # SA4025F will add about 28 inches to the back of your vehicle. These are your best options that will work with your ebike.
