Question:

what trailer wiring kit will plug and play with a Hopkins 56200 flat tow wiring kit, on a 2016 Jeep wrangler? 75th edition would that be a 4 flat or 7 pin conection.

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C55124 will plug in inline of the Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # HM56200 on your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 75th Edition to give you a 4-way connector for towing a trailer.

Since the kits will not be used at the same time there will be no issues.

If you are needing a 7-way connector you will need the # ETBC7 which will plug into the 4-way connector at the rear of your Jeep and give you a 7-way and 4-way connector. You will need to make a few more connections which are as follows:

Black wire to positive terminal of battery with included 40 amp circuit breaker
White wire grounded to frame
Blue wire to passenger compartment if trailer you are towing has trailer brakes.

When we did this install on a similar 2012 Jeep Wrangler we used the No-Drill Mount Bracket, Long # 18136 to mount the 7-way connector to the trailer hitch receiver.

If your trailer has trailer brakes you will also need a trailer brake controller of which I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it is an extremely reliable trailer brake controller with great features like and easy to read LCD screen, and built in diagnostics that are easy to read and understand.
