I would be happy to go over everything needed to flat tow your 2018 Honda HR-V EX 4WD with the manual transmission.

Starting with the base plate kit I recommend the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-521570-5 which is compatible with the Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain # RM-522. The # RM-522 is one of our most popular tow bars due to the the non-binding arms that allow you to quickly and easily unhook your vehicle even on un-even terrain.

Next is tow bar wiring and safety cables of which I recommend the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 7-Wire to 6-Wire Straight Cord # RM-152-98146-7, and the RoadMaster 64" Double Hook, Straight Safety Cables - 8,000 lbs # RM-646.

Moving on to a supplemental braking system I recommend the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR due to it being very easy to install compared to other systems, and since it is completely removed from the tow vehicle when you are done flat towing it can be used in multiple tow vehicles if needed. You will also need the 12v Outlet Kit # RM-9332.

Lastly you will more than likely need a high-low adapter to level your tow bar to your 2015 Thor Citation 24SR so I have included a link to a helpful article that goes over how to measure for the correct adapter, and a link to all of our high-low adapters for you to take a look at.

It is always a good idea to check the recreational towing sections of your vehicles owner's manual for any flat towing restrictions or special steps required to make your vehicle ready to be flat towed.

I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
