I inherited a Thule Cascade XT 677 that is missing mounting hardware. We drive a 2012 Subaru Outback. What replacement mounting hardware should I be looking for?

The replacement mounting hardware that you will need for your Thule Cascade cargo box is the EasySnap U-bolt, # 43216. The u-bolts will fit crossbars up to 3-1/4 inches wide. If you have factory crossbars, you will want to measure the width of the crossbars to see if your cargo box will mount directly to your factory crossbars.
If your box doesn't have the EasySnap hardware, then the replacement you will want is # TH04997 for the older style box.
