When Using Second Row SUV Mattress Is Second Row Bench or Buckets Preferred

Question:
I am looking to purchase a 2021 SUV maybe a Chevy Traverse or Ford Explorer. Some of them have second row captains chairs which leave a sizable gap horizontally between the second row seats. Will your mattress be comfortable with second row captains chairs or do I need to look for second row bench seating? Thanks,

If you were going to use a second row mattress like the AirBedz Rear Seat Mattress part # AB59FR you'd want to have a second row bench for the best support of the mattress instead of buckets. The gap in support between the two seats would be somewhat noticeable.
