Question:
I have an old 1963-ish Sears light duty trailer with 4.8/4.00-8 tires on wheels with internal bearings all mounted on a 3/4inch one-piece axle. Id like to get new wheels but am having trouble locating. What do I need to ask for? Thanks

To find the correct replacement wheels, you will need to know the bolt pattern of your existing wheels. I will link you to an FAQ article that shows how to determine your bolt pattern.
Do your existing hubs use lug nuts or lug bolts to attach the wheels? If you use lug bolts, you have a hub-centric wheel, where the wheel centers on the hub bore, you will need to make sure the pilot diameter of the replacement matches your existing wheel.
I have linked you to our selection of 4.80/4.00-8 tires and appropriate wheels. We have 4 and 5 lug wheels, with pilot diameters of 2.5 and 2.8 inches.
