It sounds like you are looking for a ladder roller for your Apex ladder rack.
While we do not sell Apex-specific rollers, we do have something that can work. It's the Ladder Roller for Yakima HD Bar, JetStream, FlushBar, and RailBar Crossbars, part # Y01163. It's built for Yakima crossbars, but it utilizes the T-slot of the bars. So, if your Apex ladder rack has a T-slot, this will work great for you. It has a 75-pound capacity.
