Winch For Long Distance Recovery

Question:
I am looking for a winch that can hold about 200 feet of Coated 1/8 inch cable. It is for a pump in a well. Total weight of pump and pipe around 125 lbs. do you have a winch that can hold that length of cable? Thanks

Your best bet is to get a recovery rope that can connect to your pump and then have that rope connect to the winch. We do not have a winch that can carry that much cable in it's spool, but have a bunch of winches that can carry that kind of weight like a Standard Series Winch # BDW10041. I definitely recommend getting an electric winch just because I wouldn't want to be the guy stuck with cranking the manual winch # F143201 by hand!
