Question:
why do the notes say that this hitch will not work with a crew cab? Item number is 9465-40. Can it be adapted? Is there a hitch that will work with a crew cab? I have a 96 1-ton, 4wheet, 8 bed crew cab The hitch needs to be through the bed and have a 2 5/16 ball

We have really great gooseneck options for your 1996 GMC 3500 truck but none from Draw Tite that fit the crew cab model. The best option is the USA-made B and W Turnoverball part # BWGNRK1000. Many refer to the B and W hitches as being the best options around as they are well-made and easy to use compared to other options.
