Does Installing The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver C13114 On 2009 BMW X6 Require Fascia Trimming

I am about to install C13114 hitch on my 2009 BMW X6 3.0L. Is a cutout on the rear facia required? Any dimensions or sketch of the cutout available? Thanks

You are correct that you will need to trim the rear fascia to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13114 on your 2009 BMW X6.
Curt does not provide a template for the cut , and says that you will need to mark the fascia with the hitch installed, and trim until it does not contact the hitch. Taking your time will allow you to complete the install without issue.
If you are planning on towing with your X6 you will also need trailer wiring # 119250KIT, and a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900
