Flat-towing a vehicle requires several components; these are outlined in the attached FAQ article. These include base plates, tow bar, safety cables, tow lights for the CR-V and usually a supplemental braking system. You will want to check state/local laws concerning flat towing a vehicle to ensure you are in compliance with all requirements. A suitable tow bar for the Demco base plates is the Excali-Bar III # DM9511013. This fits into the 2 x 2 inch motor home receiver and connects to the base plates on the CR-V. This tow bar offers independent arms that make hookup easier on uneven ground. Safety cables are included as well.

Next you will need tow lighting for your CR-V.
