Question:

Can you suggest a roof box that will work with 2017 Lexus Gx 460 and 2021 Volvo v90 Cc both with OEM crossbars ? Also, can you suggest a quality 5 bike rear hitch carrier? Thank you

Let's start with the cargo box, and for OEM roof racks what you'll need to do in order to ensure a cargo box can fit is measure the crossbar spread (as we don't have the spreads for OEM parts). So long as the spread is no more than 42 inches, which is likely, the rooftop cargo box I recommend is from Yakima, and you can choose from how much cargo space you are looking for.

Both of these rooftop cargo boxes will work with crossbar spreads that are anywhere between 24 and 42 inches, and are easy to use with integrated locks that secure them on your roof. In regards to the bike rack, the best option for a quality 5-bike rack is the Thule Apex XT 5-Bike Rack # TH9026XT.

The Apex is the best because it has the most spacing between the bikes among 5-bike racks to keep them from contacting each other, has an integrated lock to secure the rack to your hitch and cable lock to secure your bikes to the rack, and is the easiest rack to install as it doesn't require any tools.
