Question:

Hi There, I was curious why the airbags you offer do not fit a 2016 Sierra Denali. Could you please help me understand why nobody sells a 5000 lb kit that will work with the Magnaride suspension? What is the issue? Will they not fit? Are they just not recommended? Thank you so much for your time!

There is an option for high-quality suspension enhancement for your 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 with the Magneride suspension, but air bags cannot be used as they physically won't fit your truck; the Magneride shocks interfere with where the air bags install, which is why they can't be used. So instead, for rear support you have two options, both of which were designed for use with the Magneride suspension on your 2016 Sierra 1500:

- Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # TGMRCK15MR

- RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS2611

Both will work, and the Timbrens are a good option for more occasional towing or heavy loads in the rear of of your truck, as they provide added support at that time, but the best option overall is the RoadActive Suspension (RAS).

The reason why is because the RAS is an active system which continually reinforces your suspension. The force normally put on your truck, either when carrying cargo, towing, or even when making a tight turn, gets transferred to the RAS Enhancement Kit, taking the brunt of the force to allow your suspension to continue to work normally.
