The F78-14 shown on the ST205/75-14 # AM1ST86 tire you referenced designates the old tire size for that tire.
The alpha numeric tire sizing was common in the 1960s and early to mid 1970s. A few of the tire companies still show the older tire sizes to help folks cross-reference when they are replacing old tires.
