Question:

I have a 06 Dodge 2500 mega cab short bed and I need help with getting/ choosing the right 5th wheel hitch and parts to go with it. I’m going to be getting a xlr boost 32rzr14 so the hitch weight is 2226lbs. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Because you have a short bed truck we always recommend a slider. Having a slider provides the room needed between the cab and nose of the trailer when turning sharp corners. The auto slide adjust automatically, with up to 14" of travel when you turn, to provide the clearance needed unlike other sliding hitches that require a lever be pulled in order to move the trailer back farther away from the cab.
