Question:

I have your product Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator - Drum Brakes - Zinc Plated - 2 Ball - 6,000 lbs mounted in the trailer, which works well but I have a problem with pushing the car when going downhill. I need a device that will eliminate this and where I could manually turn it on trailer brake I thought about Dexter DX Series EOH Actuator. Can I have both devices connected simultaneously?

Since there isn't an easy way to lock out the Demco Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator 8605001, you would not be able to use it with the Dexter DX Series Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuator for Drum Brakes # K71-650

Both a hydraulic coupler and EOH system are unable to both be used together, so the braking function would go to the Dexter actuator. Since the hydraulic actuator is bolted on, it will be a simple replacement with a standard coupler, the Demco Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler - eZ-Latch - Zinc # 12564 or Silver # DM15000-52.
