Question:
I have a shelby weld on Jack on my 28 toy hauler build by mirage in 2005. I have sheared two gear pins in the past few years when the coupler binds to the ball. 1. i am in need of a new handle 2. what pins do you recommend 3. any suggestions on how to prevent the binding, I have never had this much difficulty uncoupling a trailer than with this one Thank you

Because Shelby are no longer in business, it is extremely difficult to find replacement parts for your jack.
Instead, I recommend replacing it entirely with a new one like the Fulton Round, Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack - Weld On, part # FTJ120W0301. This will use the existing weld-on bracket and collar from your existing Shelby Jack. I've linked to a video installation of this jack so you can see what I mean. It has a weight capacity of 1200 pounds.
As for the binding problem with your coupler, I have two suggestions. First, one of the easiest things you can do to ease coupling is to use a hitch ball lubricant like part # 58117 because it reduces friction, which prevents movement.
Second, it may be that your coupler latch is no longer up to par. If you can replace the latch with a new one, it may solve your problem without having to look at completely replace the coupler altogether. I've linked to a video installation of part # CA-5100-RK to show you how one of these latches can help reduce the binding (especially if the locking nut is too tight).
