Question:
I was looking at these chains for my truck, curious why they state they arent recommended for off road use, PWH2226SC Thanks

Expert Reply:
I do have some off-road suitable tire chains for 295/70-18 tires but the Glacier Twist Link Snow Tire Chains part # PWH2226SC are not rated for this. The reason for this has to do with the thickness of the chains. Instead, I recommend the Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains for Wide Base Tires part # TC3831 which are much beefier and rated for use both on and off-road.
