Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a real quick look at this Reese Replacement Chain Kit for uplift bracket for your weight distribution. Now, this is going to replace the chain kit for your Reese heavy duty round bar and high performance trunnion weight distribution. And this kit includes everything that you see here on the table before me. This is going to be everything that you need to hook up your spring bar to the uplift bracket. So, first you're gonna get this nine link chain and let me bring my ruler out here real quick and line this up just to confirm the measurement with you. So, measuring end-to-end, as you can see we are sitting at 12 and three quarters inches long on this.
So again, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine link. And then, you are also going to receive this 3/8ths of an inch by 16 U bolt that attaches to your spring bar and then two 3/8ths of an inch flat washers, and then two 3/8ths of an inch by 16 grade two lock nuts. And as you know now know you need two of these kits to replace both sides. So, this kit is the direct replacement from Reese. So, what that means for you is this is going to be able to fit right in place of the original.
You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues or anything like that. So, if you are needing to replace the chain kit for your Reese heavy duty round bar and high performance trunnion weight distribution, this is going to be exactly what you need. It's a chain with a u-bolt, washers and nuts. Not much to go wrong here.
Chain still working just fine supporting 1400lb WD bars using simple flip-up brackets.
More importantly, it saved me the hassle of waiting for someone at the local [...] store to cut a chain to length and sorting through the messy nightmare of tiny loose nuts and bolts, also known as the small parts bin.
Packed securely and arrived a day earlier than expected. That's always nice!
I recently had my travel trailer in a national repair center for a fresh water pump issue. While there my Reese Dual-Cam system was removed by one or more unknown people. They unbolted and removed everything. The center replaced my system but the chain that was eventually bought did not look right. I ordered a set from e-trailer. They arrived promptly and will be installed on my trailer in the morning. Great web site, great service. I just hope I don't have to go through this mess again!

Fine, no issues.
I actually purchased a weight distribution hitch and UPS destroyed the box and lost the chains and u-bolts. I called etrailer and they sent a replacement right away and I got them in time for my next camping trip. The hitch works great and the customer service was excellent.

Quality Parts. Don't be misled and think you can buy the same U-bolt at a home center. These U bolts have the same strength as the chain. Don't trust your expensive cargo to cheap parts. In this case you get what you pay for...

Excellent. It was a replacement for the original chains that got rusty. They functioned exactly like the originals.
