Question:
I am shopping for a hitch for a 2018 Subaru Outback to use with a bike rack. The following two hitches look very similar. What are the differences and which do you recommend? Thanks. Curt C13410 Draw-Tite 76227 Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
The main difference between the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13410 and the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76227 is the manufacturer. They install the same way and offer the same weight capacities.
Between the two there is no distinguishing differences making the most cost effective one the way to go in my book.
If you need wiring for a trailer in the future. The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 118467 is an excellent choice. It is very easy to install and proves to be very reliable.
Ihave linked installation videos on both hitches and the wiring for you to check out.
