Is the Air Bag On The Lippert Air Ride Pin Box Supposed To Be Secured At The Bottom
Updated 12/30/2020 | Published 12/28/2020 >
Question:
I have a 2019 riverstone legacy with the air ride pin box. The air bag has never been straight up and down so the other day I completely deflated it to see if I could get it to air up straight and noticed the bottom is not secured in any way. Is this how it is designed?

The bottom of the air bag on the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel Pin Box - Lippert 1621 & 1621HD - 21,000 lbs
Item # LC158778 has a carriage bolt and nut that has most likely loosened. What you would need to do is remove the nuts and bolts from the top side, remove the shock, release the air pressure in the bags and remove the bags. Adjust the lower bolt by adjusting it side to side so it is center and tightening the nut. Re-install the bag and the top nuts and bolts, re-install the shock and add approximately 80-90 psi into the bag. Check to make sure bag is straight. Make any adjustments necessary by repeating the process above.
