Parts Needed To Upgrade to Wet Bolts and Bronze Bushings On Double Eye Leaf Springs

Question:

I would like to find out how to ameliorate my 1500lbs. 1-3/4 double eye 3 leafs suspension, to wet bolts and bronze bushing with shackle links, only at one end of each leaf pack. Presently there is a 9/16X3 bolt with a nylon bushing in each spring eye. Would this be better than what is on now. Thanks and have a nice day.

The Dexter Heavy Duty Suspension Upgrade Kit part # K71-358-00 would allow you to upgrade to wet bolts and bronze bushings on 1-3/4" wide double eye leaf springs. The wet bolts and bronze bushing will last much longer and preform better than the standard bolts and nylon bushing currently in place.

The kit does come with extra wet bolts if you are only doing the shackle side. If you have a tandem axle trailer you would need two kits.
