Base Rails for Moving TracRac Ladder Rack from 2001 Dodge to 2013 Chevy Silverado

Question:
I am moving my Trac Rac from my 01 Dodge Long bed to my 2013 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD and My Base rail drilling pattern doesnt quite seem to match up. I have been told I need to buy new Base rails but the upper rack will fit up with the new base rails. So my question is really simple. What part number do I need to order new base rails for my New 2013 HD 3500 Silverado long bed truck?

Expert Reply:
According to my TracRac representative, both trucks use the same base rail system, so your existing rails will work just fine on your new truck. As you said, the bolt holes do not match up, but if you flip the rails from front to back and side to side, you will find that the holes should match up.
