I just bought a new to me 2016 Genesis 40cr and need to install a 5th wheel hitch in my truck. I currently own a 2013 2500 mega cab short bed without the oem pucks for a 5th wheel hitch. I will be upgrading to a 2021 3500 mega cab short bed srw with the puck system in a few months. I would like to purchase an auto slider hitch that will work for both applications without to much grief, any suggestions?

For your 2013 RAM 2500 Mega Cab, WITHOUT fifth wheel puck mounting I would get the B&W # BWRVK3400-5W Sliding Fifth Wheel Hitch with the # BWGNRK1308-5W mounting rails.
For your 2021 RAM 3500 Mega Cab, with Towing Prep (Puck) Package, you can install the B&W # BWRVB3670 Slider Base for the puck system, then move the head from your 2013 truck to this new base.
It should be noted that these are manual slide hitches - not auto slides. The B&W is the only sliding hitch for your 2021 RAM 3500 short bed.
Once you figure out exactly how your 2021 will be equipped email me again and we can look at an in-bed power wiring harness and other accessories you might need.
