How Does Gustafson RV Reading Light Wire Up
Updated 12/09/2020 | Published 12/08/2020 >
Question:
My RV has red and white feed to the existing lighting fixture. The LED lighting fixture I purchased from E-Trailer has a white and a black lead. How should I connect the wires since the LED is polarity sensitive?

The easy solution would be to connect the wiring of your RV for the lighting to the wiring of the Gustafson light part # 277-000334 and it's either not going to power on or will.
When LED lights are wired backwards they simply don't work without damage so there would be no reason to worry. The black wire of this light is the power wire and the white is ground.
