Installation of the Tekonsha Prodigy should be fairly easy with the Winnebago having a 7 -way connector installed from the factory. There should be a wiring harness under the driver's side dash that will have at least 4 wires to connect to the brake controller. I do not have vehicle specific information on the Winnebago wiring location, but it should be there if it was a factory option. The wires should provide brake controller functions. If you have a GM chassis then the colors of the wires may be the same as those on the GM trucks which are, red-12 volts, light blue-stop light, black-ground and dark blue trailer brakes, all vehicle manufacturers use different color wiring for this harness.

If you cannot find a factory harness the brake controller will need to be hard wired to the vehicle and this can be done with some additional wire and a circuit tester, part # PTW2993 if you need one. You would connect the black wire out of the brake controller to the vehicle battery via a 20-amp circuit breaker, then connect the red wire from the brake controller to the stoplight switch wire that is normally cold and goes hot when the brakes are applied, then connect the blue wire to the trailer brake terminal on your 7-way connector and finally connect the white wire from the brake controller to the negative battery terminal. If there is already a wire ran to the trailer brake terminal, you can run it down and connect to it as long as it is not connected to another circuit.
