How exactly do you fit four snowboards using this carrier?

In order to carry 4 snowboards on the Rhino Rack # RR576, you would simply stack 2 boards in the same manner as you would with a pair of skis, so that the bottoms are together. You would need both sets of boards to be no wider than 27-9/16" combined in order to carry them in this manner, which shouldn't be too difficult to stay under with most standard sized boards.
Carrying the boards in this manner is not going to damage the boards as long as you're careful when loading and take care with the edges. You will want to load the boards with a lower profile or step-in binding on the bottom to provide clearance from the roof.
